I missed the fall.

 Somehow, in the last two weeks, I seem to have missed the changing of the leaves. It wasn't until I went out on Monday that I realized that all of the trees looked like this:

And the ground looked like this:

With all of the traveling I've been doing lately, not to mention my lengthy, and procrastinated, "To Do" list, I guess I am not surprised. Still, considering how excited I was for the return of autumn, I really thought I would notice when the colors started to shift, but in the blink of an eye it was all over.

*sigh* I don't think I will ever get used to how fast the change happens in this country.
