I love those J-I-N-G-L-E bells!

Right folks. It is officially THAT time of year. And for all of you Scrooges out there, I am sorry, but there is just no fighting it any more. It is no longer too early to decorate your tree. The little scene above is just what's in my bedroom :) It is no longer too soon to buy those last minute gifts, start baking those seasonal goodies and planning those holiday gatherings. And finally, it is no longer too early to start blasting those holiday tunes. I know that Christmas music is controversial, but I'm sorry, there just is really no case against it at this point. We are only a couple of weeks away!

I, for one, love all the holiday cheer (I am literally watching Elf right now). Especially the music. I remember going caroling with some friends during high school. There were only a few of us, but it really was one of the best (sober) nights that I've ever experienced. The snow was sparkling, the harmonies flowing and the laughter abounding. Plus people seemed truly surprised and delighted to find us at their doors. I think caroling has become such a rare thing that when you do experience it, it is just special.

So, to encourage this holiday spirit, here are a few of my favorite seasonal songs. Emphasis on the word 'few.' If I actually tried to post all of the songs that I loved we would be here for a very long time.

Love and peace for everyone!

 Home Alone....anyone?

This isn't the best clip for just the song, but enjoy anyway.

Yes.

I usually prefer the classic recordings, but I'm making an exception for this super sweet rendition of Jingle Bells by Mika (in French!)

Just listening to these songs gives me that warm fuzzy feeling! Now if only it would snow.... It has been a balmy mid-40s to low 50s all month. SO not Christmas.

Hope you enjoyed my favorites and PLEASE feel free to share yours with me. I can never have too many tunes on my Christmas playlist!

Love and holiday spirit.
