Summerrrrr!!!!

Ok. Alright. I'll admit it. There is such a thing as "summer" in England.


Last year was pretty devastating, what with all the rain, but finally, FINALLY, we've been experiencing some real summer weather. Temperatures firmly above seventy degrees. Even eighty on some days. And clear, blue skies that last for more than just the morning.

Yes, it still rains every few days (probably better for the greenery). And yes, the heat has caused my hayfever to explode. But so long as I can wear shorts and sunscreen, and tiptoe around, barefoot in the grass, it's worth it.
