Made it through my very first field day. I'm sure we must have had these at my elementary school, but for some reason I really can't remember them. Maybe this is because I would much rather have spent my day lounging under a shady tree, with a good book than playing competitive games with my classmates. I have to say, though, that I had a blast at this field day - even though I spent half of it chasing after one of my kids, who just wanted to touch, kick, hit, and grab everything in sight. Talk about sensory overload!

But, c'est la vie. The day was a definite success.
